Location: Remote | Team: Bulgaria-based
We are looking for an experienced DHIS2 specialist to lead or advise on metadata translation workflows across multi-sector, multi-program health information systems.
The engagement can take two forms:
- Advisory (2 days): Guide our team through best practices for high-volume metadata translation workflows. Open to the use of AI. Make our lives easier!
- Implementation (4–6 days): Own the end-to-end process — exporting metadata, coordinating with client translators, applying AI-assisted first-pass translations, and re-importing validated JSON across Spanish, French, and Portuguese
You bring:
- 5–10 years of DHIS2 configuration experience
- Strong command of DHIS2 import/export tools and JSON/Excel workflows
- Experience with AI translation tools and multilingual metadata management
- Comfort troubleshooting export inconsistencies and working at high volume
- Reliable connection for remote collaboration with a Bulgaria-based team
