Hello everyone,
My name is Agnes Keko. I am currently based in Canada and focused on building a career in health information systems across Africa.
I hold a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and a background in Medical Laboratory Science. I recently began working with DHIS2 to strengthen my skills in health data management, disease surveillance, and digital reporting systems.
I am currently developing a DHIS2 portfolio project, with a focus on metadata configuration, data analysis, and dashboard development for public health use cases.
I am keen to contribute to DHIS2 implementations in African health systems and collaborate with professionals working in this space.
Hi @ChelseaG @rgibson @Amran66 @agneslamnyam
Welcome to the DHIS2 Community of Practice! Thank you for the introductions and looking forward to your participation in the global community of practice. ![]()
Hi everyone,
My name is Joshua Odoma, and I’m based in Abuja, Nigeria, working across multiple states on national public health programs. I’m a Strategic Information and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) specialist with over eight years of experience supporting large-scale health interventions, particularly in HIV, TB, and RMNCH programs.
I got involved with DHIS2 early in my career while supporting routine health data reporting and gradually moved into more advanced roles around system optimization, data quality assurance, and analytics. Over the years, DHIS2 has been central to my work—supporting data collection, validation, analysis, and visualization for decision-making at both state and national levels.
Currently, I support the Global Fund GC7 implementation in Nigeria, where I coordinate M&E activities and DHIS2 reporting across multiple sub-recipients and states. My work involves aligning community, facility, and private sector data streams, strengthening data systems, and ensuring data is used to improve program outcomes.
I’ve been part of several DHIS2-related implementations, including:
- Strengthening routine reporting systems and dashboards
- Supporting data integration across platforms (e.g., DHIS2 with ODK/Kobo)
- Designing data quality frameworks and validation processes
- Using DHIS2 data for analytics, adaptive programming, and performance tracking
I’m also excited to share that I have an accepted abstract for the 2026 DHIS2 Annual Conference, where I hope to contribute insights on data-driven program optimization.
I’m particularly interested in how DHIS2 can be leveraged for interoperability, real-time analytics, and smarter program design in resource-constrained settings.
Outside work, I enjoy data storytelling, writing abstracts for conferences, and exploring how data can drive real-world impact.
Looking forward to learning from and connecting with this amazing community!
Hello Everyone,
My name is Abdullah Khan, and I am based in Pakistan. I work as a DHIS Officer in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) under the Integrated Nutrition Project, supported by UNICEF.
I am currently involved in implementing DHIS2 Tracker Capture across multiple districts and managing the DHIS2 Aggregate Nutrition Module at the provincial level. My work focuses on system implementation, user training, and improving data quality for better decision-making.
I look forward to learning from and connecting with the community.
Hi ALL. I’m ChadKimenye, an M & E and Public Health Systems focal point at the Ministry of Health in Kenya and practitioner in the African region. I interact with DHIS2 as an intermediary but lately finding use a lot more frequently than before. Would like to learn more and grow expertise in using DHIS as we progressively develop new health systems data bases and look to dashboard visualizations especially on in country RMNCAH data. Hope to share experiences as we move forward!
Kind regards,
^
Hi everyone,
I’m Ernesto Nhambe, based in Maputo, Mozambique. I’m a Senior IT Consultant with a background in software development, data systems, and Monitoring & Evaluation.
I got involved with DHIS2 through my work with data collection, reporting, and dashboards, and I’ve been particularly interested in how it supports data-driven decision-making. I’ve worked on system implementations, integrations, and data visualization (including Power BI).
Outside of DHIS2, I enjoy building web and mobile solutions, especially projects that can create real impact in areas like public services, finance, and health.
Happy to be here and looking forward to learning and connecting with you all!
Hello everyone,
My name is Chiyuki Yoshida, and I am based in Japan. You can call me, Yuki. I got involved with DHIS2 through my mission as IFRC Emergency Health Delegate in MENA and have since worked on projects such as HMIS strengthening, health data integration, dashboards etc.
Looking forward to connecting with you all!
Hi everyone
My name is Winnie Okwara, a Public Health graduate. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between health and technology, which is why I’m here to master DHIS2 before pursuing my Master’s. Excited to learn with you all!.
Hello! Omer here from the Philippines, M&E practitioner in SRH
