The HISP Network invites you to join our webinar on NCD data in HMIS on May 23 2024 at 14:00-15:30 CEST.

To counter the growing burden of Noncommunicable Disease (NCDs), many health system leaders and global stakeholders are calling for more robust and routine facility-level data on NCDs such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and asthma.

This year, four HISP groups โ€” from Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, and Rwanda โ€” conducted rapid reviews of the existing NCD data availability and quality in each countryโ€™s DHIS2-based Health Management Information System (HMIS). In this webinar, these HISP groups will present findings from their assessments, including possible linkages they identified with non-HMIS systems, which will inform their future planned activities to strengthen NCD data quality and data use.

The webinar will take place on Thursday, 23 May, from 14:00-15:30 Central European Summer Time (GMT+2). Register to join us for this free event through our online form here: Webinar: Noncommunicable Disease Data in National HMIS: Rapid Reviews from Four Countries - DHIS2

We hope that these case studies will provide useful context on NCD indicators in routine health information systems, and how DHIS2 implementers are addressing gaps in these essential sources of health service data.
