A new Upcoming Events feature is now available on the DHIS2 Community of Practice (CoP). This is a community-focused space to discover webinars, meetups, academies, and community-led sessions in one place.
Here is an overview of what the feature includes:
Browse events
Access a list of upcoming sessions. Click any event to open its dedicated topic thread, where you can read details, ask questions, or engage with others.
Timezone display
Event times shown inside topic threads automatically reflect your local timezone based on your device settings.
Availability and reminders
Within any event topic, toggle your availability (Going, Interested, or Not Going), set a notification, or download a calendar invite for Google Calendar, Outlook, and others. For meetups with automated registration, a calendar invite and meeting link are sent directly to you.
Submit your own event
This space is open to the wider DHIS2 community. If your organization or local user group is hosting a DHIS2-related session — a local meetup, webinar, workshop, training, conference, or any DHIS2-related event — you can request to have it listed here, as long as it is open to the community.
To submit: send your event details (title, date and time, description, and joining link) to community@dhis2.org. Events are reviewed before being added.
