Hi, what about the bio-metric integration on DHIS2?

Hi @ezonebishnu We are working with several partners to integrate palm print and finger print integration, but that is a good question for the next session on tracker for @mike

Thanks @Scott. Nepal has already initiated and successfully implementing HIV Care Tracker with Bio-metric Integration with technical support form the HISP India and we would like to hear more experiences on it. We look forward to hear in next session.

Can we generate charts from the customized forms in DHIS2? Also, is there any option to add customized form as ‘favorites’ so that it can be added in Dashboard?

Question from @Dereje:
Is it possible to import from different data sources and manage them in DHIS2 dashboard (or is there a limitation on the type of data we can import)?

Is print available in 2.33?

Sorry no. It is only available in 2.35.

When exactly after a release of new version is appropriate to upgrade existing version?

In terms of dashboard filters - if users have view only rights, does this also apply to the filters i.e. could they change the dashboard filters or is it fixed to what the creator/superuser has set?

@Derebe That is usually based upon your ability to test the new version on your test instance, and train your users. We encourage users to not be more than 2 releases behind the current release. Bugs fixes and support are only provided for the 3 previous releases (For now: 2.34, 33, and 32).

Hi all!

What’s about repetible head section on Events?

For example: In an Organization Unit we collect events like rows, however there’s a registration section (person who introduce/revision information, office, special datafields).

@monika The filter does reflect the user permissions

What are the potential any downsides to having continuous analytics running? Will it affect performance?

Does the single value visualization type support thousand separators in the display?

@LauraLincks Yes, in the 2.35 release it does

@Guerra-Arias_Maria in theory nothing, but in practice it does depend a bit if you have any custom analytics, scripts, or applications. I recommend that you test continuous analytics on you testing instance before deploying to your production

@LauraLincks Yes, in the 2.35 release it does.

@monika: Just to clarify @Scott’s answer - all users can apply filters; they are simply filters on top of their current view - they do not modify the underlying dashboard.

Hi,
Can we add period range function (for daily) in period selection?
like “Cases DE” since 2019-01-01 until now?
