Request for Insights and Resources on Server Resource Management for DHIS2

We are currently focused on enhancing our approach to server resource management within our DHIS2 system, and we are looking to gather insights and best practices from the community. Specifically, we are interested in:

  • Capacity Planning: Accurately predict future resource needs based on current usage trends and growth patterns.
  • Prevention of Bottlenecks: Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth and reliable system operation.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize server performance for better efficiency and responsiveness under various load conditions.
  • Cost Management: Manage and control infrastructure costs by understanding and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Multiple Server Load Balancing: Best practices for balancing loads across multiple servers.

If anyone has experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, as per Documentation suggestion, or similar, we would greatly appreciate if you could share any reports, dashboards, or documents that might be relevant. Additionally, any insights into how these tools were used effectively in your environment would be extremely valuable.

It’s great to see you sharing about the project in Nepal with the community and giving everyone the chance to contribute openly. I noticed your topic mentioned several points that might be asked seperately such as this topic: Total Cost of Ownership of DHIS2 as national HMIS

Would you like to prioritize one of these and create a topic for it? Please share the specific goals or any technical challenges that you are facing, and as much possible information?
