Saptarshi,

Is there any documentation around on how to use your mobile solution outside of India? I would love to try it out here.

Hi all,

A simple, friendly mobile data entry for dhis2 would be useful as

  • grps connection in developing countries are good enough
  • 3g connection becomes real soon end of this year.

Hi Yusuph,

Sorry, but think most people on this list will not be up to speed with your question - are they at all related to Thanh’s request for mobile data entry?

As for the acronyms:

MNCH = Maternal Newborn and Child Health?

RCH: DFID has committed £252 million (2005-11) to the second phase of the National Reproductive and Child Health Programme

Hi Yusuph,

I am sure they have RCH indicators in DHIS2 in Zambia, Zanzibar, Sierra Leone and India, as well as in the sample database from South Africa. The sample you get with the download of DHIS 2 live from dhis2.com. For the others you need to contact the ones doing the implementation. I assume you already have the Zanzibar db though. Johan, Edem or Romain might help with Sierra Leone indicators, John with India indicators and Jason for Zambia. Would be great if we could set up a repository of all of them somewhere.

I think such a repository of datadictionaries should be cohosted with the orgunitdb I made available last week, and hosted on a server in Oslo along with the main demo.
