Nice Things to Remember from November!

From the end of October until the end of November, new CoP members introduced themselves in the Introduce Yourself topic, so let’s start by welcoming them into the community!:clap: We also welcome our new DHIS2 developer advocate @German! Whether you have had years of experience in DHIS2 or are completely new to DHIS2, please don’t miss out the awesome and open interaction with members of the community.

Also, in November, the DHIS2 core team published in the CoP announcements category a new topic about the DHIS2 2.37 release, and for the first time, the DHIS2 release webinar was hosted in the CoP! Community members had the pleasure to watch the live stream webinar in the same topic page where members can ask their questions to the DHIS2 experts.

Before our copmonthly special tradition of honoring our active and helpful community members, a quick reminder that our DHIS2 Community of Practice event will be this friday, December 03, 2021. There will be nice activities for all! :tada:

November 2021

Good Samaritans

Without Good Samaritans, there’s no community! We are very thankful to all users for contributing to the CoP especially when helping other users. Samaritans, thank you for making others feel at home!

Bug Hunters

Many users who faced issues and discussed them with the community were very helpful in finding bugs. These bug hunters create Jira issues (with link to the CoP post) and support the development of DHIS2.

Feature Finders

Whenever a user is trying to accomplish something with the software but it seems to be a daunting and complicated task, the CoP is a great place to discuss if there’s an easier way or an alternative solution. In fact, sometimes there is a workaround, and sometimes it turns out to be a feature request to be added in future DHIS2 releases. After discussion with the community, these Feature Finders create feature requests to shape the future of DHIS2!

Thank you!
