Hello DHIS2 team, I am excited to join this community. I am based in Abuja, Nigeria working with Gifra Wireless Network Limited, an ISP. I came across the App few days ago when I was contacted to offer consultancy service in data collection, management and visualization. I indicated I was going to use ArcGIS Pro, Survey123 and kobocollect but my client insisted on using DHIS2, so I googled it and found it interesting. I have started learning it from scratch and will need the support of this community in the course of the journey. I find pretty straight forward with a gentle learning curve.
My problem now is installing the app which requires PostgreSQL, Java, oracle all to be installed before DHIS2 can be installed. Is there any simple way of doing the installation?

Glad you took your clients advice and I hope you’ll find all the resources you need to get started with DHIS2.
If you’re using it now for learning and experimenting then there could be simple ways to get started. Like @arnold suggested, you could also make use of the play.dhis2.org instances. Another suggestion, if you’d like a local setup is to use DHIS2 on Docker and it’s the fastest and easiest one to install although currently not recommended for production.
