Local copy of Sierra Leone v41.2.0

Hi everyone, I need some assistance. Our IT downloaded the Sierra Leone Demo Database v41.2.0 from Downloads - DHIS2. When we try to create a new dashboard, we get this error message on saving - “Requested dashboard not found”.

Hi @Lyn_Pennington

Sorry for the delay! It looks like this issue could be similar to “Requested dashboard not found issue version 2.33.8 - #6 by YuryR

Would you please try these suggestions from @YuryR :

Please go through the conversation in the thread to ensure you’re not facing the same issue: “Requested dashboard not found issue version 2.33.8 - #6 by YuryR. If it’s still not resolved, would you share the steps to reproduce this and a screenshot?

Thanks!

Hi @Gassim

Thanks so much for your response. We are logging into our local copy of the Sierra Leone Demo Database with admin/district which I presume has permissions to do everything.

Then we’re following the normal process to create a dashboard - 1. click on the +, 2. type a name for the dashboard, 3. click on Save changes. But no dashboard is created and the message is displayed.

Of course this works fine on the Sierra Leone Demo Database on Login app | DHIS2! So I am wondering what we need to look for on our local copy that could solve this problem.

Thank you for your response. Would you try again by creating a user other than the admin user with all the authorities necessary and see if it works?

Could you also try using the Guest mode in your Google Chrome browser? [ Browse Chrome as a guest - Computer - Google Chrome Help]

When you get the error message, could you check the Network log and the Console? Please share if there are any errors there too.

Hi @Gassim

Thanks so much for your suggestions. Actually I’m not able to create a user on our instance, either via the link on the login page or from the Users App so I can’t test this. I can create a user from the Users App on the play instance, but also get an error from the landing page link.

I’m afraid I don’t know how to check the network log or the console. Could you direct me how to do that?

Is it possible that there was a problem with the download of the database from the dhis2 site? How can one test that? Sorry for all the silly questions, but I’m not technical.

Hi @Gassim

I just wanted to advise that our Infrastructure team sorted this out for us - seems that the download had got corrupted. So we are all sorted - thanks so much for your input, much appreciated!
