The topic is: Meet App Competition Finalists: DHIS2 Audit Vision & DHIS2 AI Assistant.
After a very strong app competition this year, which included four finalists, at this meetup, you’ll have a chance to learn more from two of them: the winner DHIS2 Audit Vision, and another finalist DHIS2 AI Assistant.
DHIS2 Audit Vision is the winner of the DHIS2 annual conference 2026 app competition! 
DHIS2 Audit Vision is a powerful monitoring platform that tracks every change made to your DHIS2 metadata, providing alerts, traceability, and monitoring for your DHIS2 instance, as well as useful functionality such as rolling back metadata changes. Audit Vision empowers ministries of health, NGOs, and other stakeholders to enhance data integrity, monitor system changes, and improve the security and accountability of DHIS2 implementations.
In this presentation, Edson Nhancale (@EdsonNhancale) from Saudigitus will present what it took to create the app from the why to the how, leaving some time for questions from the audience at the end.
The second talk will be on one of the finalists: DHIS2 AI Assistant. DHIS2 AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that adds an AI-powered side panel to any DHIS2 instance. Instead of clicking through menus or writing API calls by hand, you describe what you want in plain English and the assistant queries the DHIS2 API on your behalf, builds analytics, audits your program configuration, and authors metadata for you.
You’ll hear from Abdelatif Abualya (@Abdelatif-Abualya) from HISP MENA on the process of creating the AI assistant, including any gotchas you may have developing a product with AI capabilities.
