We are trying to report on one indicator summed by year broken out by OrgUnitOwnership.
Attempt # 1: When we run the query in a pivot table we are able to get the correct data (see below and attached diagram CorrectDataNoBreakdown.png)
When we convert that output to a chart of any kind (we opted for a line graph) we get the right numbers to appear in the chart but the data is not a multi-line graph breaking down the 4 different OrgUnitOwnership types. It just shows one line for the total of all OrgUnitOwners.
Attempt # 2: When we change the chart and move Data to a Dimension, we get the OrgUnitOwnership breakdown but the data itself is vastly incorrectly increased (see below and attached diagram CorrectBreakdownWrongData.png). Interestingly, we cannot create a chart or a pivot table with these settings from scratch. We have to revise the chart we created in Attempt # 1. If we try create a pivot table or a chart with the settings in Attempt #2, DHIS gives us the error: “The page at hmis.gov.ls says: 0 communication failure undefined”
We can take the table data in Attempt #1 and create a graph in Excel (see below) but we cannot create the same thing in DHIS. We want to incorporate this into a dashboard. Any ideas?

The dimensions area is just a waiting/easy access area (showing recently used dimensions) and items there are not part of the chart / table. So your selected data is then for all data elements combined, which explains the high values.

Hi Laura,
Try to move Data to the filter area in attempt 2, then you should see the correct values again.
