Hello DHIS2 Community! 
My name is Marc Hagenimana, I’m cancer Epidemiologist and I am based in Rwanda, where I serve as the Head of the Rwanda National Cancer Registry at the Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), Ministry of Health.I have over 10 years of experience in cancer surveillance and cancer control. My involvement with DHIS2 began through the design and implementation of a DHIS2-based cancer registry solution to strengthen cancer registration in Rwanda. This work contributed to the establishment of a nationwide digital cancer surveillance system and helped inform the development of the global DHIS2 Oncology Toolkit.
My areas of interest include:
· DHIS2 Tracker and Oncology implementations
· Cancer registries and cancer surveillance
· Health information systems interoperability
· Data use for research and public health decision-making
I also lead initiatives to develop and strengthen population-based cancer screening registries, with a particular focus on cervical and breast cancer screening programs. These efforts support monitoring and evaluation of progress toward the WHO Cervical Cancer Elimination Strategy (90-70-90 targets) and the WHO Global Breast Cancer Initiative, ensuring that high-quality data are available to guide program implementation and policy decisions.
I collaborate with regional and global partners, including the African Cancer Registry Network (AFCRN) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), to advance cancer surveillance and cancer registry development across Africa and beyond. My global contributions include serving as an external reviewer of cancer registry data submitted to IARC for publication in “Cancer Incidence in Five Continents (CI5)” and participating in WHO–IARC–IAEA imPACT Review Missions, where I lead assessments of national cancer surveillance systems and cancer control capacities.
I look forward to learning from the community, sharing experiences, and collaborating with fellow DHIS2 practitioners to strengthen digital health systems and improve health outcomes worldwide.

Am Selma Yahyia ,Sudanes ,and I work in Sudan Mission -SouthDarfur project as Data Supervisor with MSF-Oca.
For me this the First Time to be members of DHIS2 Coummunity ,am just knowed about this coumminity throw the regiestration to Annual confreance of DHIS2 2026,up to now am just users of DHIS2 in Emmergancy project ,but I see the big effort that immplemnters and the other DHIS2 experts do it and still do it ,so Best wishes ,this time Am a student and attend this confrence for learning .
but in the future I hope to be one of the active Members in this Coummunity and add a real value in it .

I am Kamila, and I live in Brazil. I first learned about DHIS2 while conducting a scoping review. I would like to know if DHIS2 has a planning module and if it enables the management of planning tools, such as action plans and reports. If so, how can I obtain documents detailing its functionalities?

My name is Emmanuel Changkuoth, and I am from South Sudan currently interning with South Sudan Health Informatics Association/National Public Health Institute, I am particularly interested in DHIS2 because it is a powerful tool for strengthening health information systems. As a graduate, I want to understand how DHIS2 supports accurate data collection, reporting, and evidence‑based decision‑making in public health.
I have just started online academy and am excited about the potential here, I hope to build practical DHIS2 skills, learn how to design and interpret health information for program monitoring and evaluation, and apply this knowledge to future professional roles in public health.
Beyond Class, I am global health enthusiast and social and environmental activist
I hope to learn and contribute as part of this beautiful community.

Je suis le Dr MFOULOU Annick, médecin biologiste, épidémiologiste de terrain (CAFETP) en service au Laboratoire Nationale de Santé Publique du Cameroun où je coordonne les activités de la section surveillance épidémiologique.
Ma structure coordonne les activités du réseau des laboratoires de santé publique et l’intégration des données de laboratoire de surveillance épidémiologique est l’un des principal défi déjà au niveau des laboratoires de référence et à long terme sur l’étendue du territitoire du pays.

My name is Bernard Benedict, and I am from Tanzania. I have a background in Anthropology and an interest in public health and health information systems. I joined this course to gain practical knowledge of DHIS2 and understand how it supports health data collection, analysis, and decisionmaking.
