I am a Master’s student at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway. I am part of the DHIS2 Design lab and developing a Shared Component Platform for my master’s thesis. My research focuses on software component reuse practices and collaboration between HISP groups.

I am interested in learning more about app development practices from community members. Please reach out if you are interested and willing to participate.

Hello Everyone,

I am Fatema Uddin from HISP Bangladesh. I am based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have a long experience in DHIS2 and HMIS system design with an evaluation of DHIS2 from the beginning of DHIS2 (2.0 to 2.33). I have been involving with DHIS2 since 2009 when the ministry of health of Bangladesh had decided to use DHIS2 as a national data warehouse. Our implementations for DHIS2 has started triggering down to the community level. I’m from a background of computer science and engineering, health informatics, and TOGAF 9.1 certified

I love traveling and meet with new peoples.

I am Miatta S. Sonkarlay from Liberia, I work for USAID-Liberia as the Malaria Project Management Specialist. USAID is supporting the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Health in the implementation of its’ National Community Health Program (NCHAP), that targets the population living beyond five Kilometer of health facility. The NCHA program targets children under five years of age and focuses on the prevention and treatment of three diseases (malaria, diarrhea and ARI). During the NCHAP implementation, we use the DHIS2 to report, collect and analyze data, and disseminate those data through the Health Information System for effective decision making.

I am Chetraj. I work in NGO named Family Planning Association of Nepal (FPAN) as a manager of Organization Learning and Evaluation Division. We rolled out DHIS2 since 2017 and in 2019, we have successfully integration bridge Electronic Clinic management system (e-eCMIS) and Local DHIS2.

I am Mohammad Yeadul Hassan Tipu from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Work for Orbis International, Bangladesh Country Office. Basically I am a software Engineer, have long experience with development software and HIMS and implementation DHIS2. Now we are using DHIS2 for FDMN population with the guidance of health ministry. I want to learn new technologies and leverage where applicable in our working path. I am happy to meet here old DHIS2 accomplices as well as the new members.

I am currently based in Nairobi, Kenya working as an ICT4D consultant in the areas of eGov, eHealth and eLearning
I first got involved with DHIS2 in Liberia during the Ebola Response (Dec 2014 to Dec 2015)
In Kenya i was part of the team that implemented DHIS2 as an M&E platform for a local NGO (Jan 2017 to Sept 2019)

I like watching cartoons.

I am Innocent Mukeredzi from Zimbabwe. I am a user of DHIS2 average though. I am the Head of Health Information within the City of Harare’ Health Department. I have been using DHIS2 since its inception in the country and hope my interaction here will give me more insight on DHIS2’s interoperability with other programs. I would like to share experiences and also learn from others.
