How to upgrade DHIS version

Dear all dev,
I am now using DHIS2 2.15 snapshot. now dhis2.org released stable version. so how can i upgrade for my current system? and what about “Upgrade script” use for?

There is no need for the upgrade script if you are using 2.15 snapshot.

Simply shutdown Tomcat, delete the WAR file and associated directory from the Tomcat /webapps/ directory, download the latest version of the war file to the /webapps/ directory, and restart Tomcat. That should be all which is required.

If you are using Tracker (persons/programs/events) in 2.14 or older version, you will most likely need to run an upgrade script in addition to the automate upgrades done by DHIS 2 at startup.
