I really don’t know where to put this export statement; because I already tried it on the ~/.bashrc file but it is not work. I tried it on the /etc/environment; it is not working. I am not start Tomcat using bin/startup.sh because I already enable it to run automatically.

I already completed the installation but i can’t get access to the
database that i had imported. During my research i have seeing a lot of
procedures to do it but they seem not to be working. Please can you help
me with a reliable solution. If possible can you send a your messenger
ID (Skype or gtalk) so that we can do the process together. Thanks in
advance for your help.
Kindly note that I am not having any errors but I can only login to the dhis using the default username/password (admin/district). This simply means the database that I had imported is not seeing the tomcat.
Most of the journals said this is my problem “export DHIS2_HOME='/home/dhis/config”
On my configuration DHIS2_HOME directory is found inside the home folder of the root; therefore my “export DHIS2_HOME=/home/DHIS2_HOME/dhis
Please I don’t know if this is were I am getting it all wrong. Please help

Also, where did you put the export statement? Are you starting using Tomcat’s bin/startup.sh ? Is that where you included the statement below?
export DHIS2_HOME=/home/DHIS2_HOME/dhis

If you are using the individual records (Tracker), make sure your data elements have:
Domain Type = “Patient” and
Combination of categories = “default”.
If you want a drop-down with options then also make sure:
Value Type = “Text”,
Option set = (not “Please Select”).
Also make sure you clear your browser cache completely before trying again.
Does that help?
