Dear Robert, just go in your dhis folder or apache tomcat and paste that war file(dhis.war) in webapps!......it wil work.

Hello, as Andrew says, it is mostly a matter of replacing the war file.
If you are running Tomcat, first stop it and move your current war file somewhere else so you have it as backup if there is a problem. Then place the new war file and restart tomcat.

Thanks for the information and support.
It worked with the Dhis2-live but not the server version. Unfortunately, the server version is not picking up anymore (tomcat starts with lot of errors). Attached is to the log.
When I use the server version, it doesn’t launch /dhis.

You need to shutdown the old server properly first.
1) Stop tomcat
2) Delete dhis war and directory in webapps
3) Put new war file in webapps directory
4) Start tomcat

Just to be fully clear: The webapps folder should be completely empty. Then you put the new war file there and then start tomcat.
