Darshan Hiranandani : Need Help with Implementing a Custom App Hub for DHIS2

Hello everyone,
I’m Darshan Hiranandani, My company is looking to implement DHIS2 as part of our public good program. However, we are facing some challenges due to the outdated and deprecated packages used in the default DHIS2 App Hub. To address this, we are considering implementing a custom app hub where we can host our own apps with up-to-date packages and prevent them from being automatically updated from the DHIS2 App Hub server.
Is there any official documentation or reference material available that can guide us in setting up a custom app hub for DHIS2? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Regards
Darshan Hiranandani

Sorry I never tried to host an app hub server.

Note that if your app is public (open source) you can just ask to get an account on the official hub and distribute it through the official hub. For each release of your app, you can specify the dhis2 version supported by your app and normally the update will take care of it (not putting a too recent version of your app)

If you really want to go in the custom hub you can have a look at this anwser

Hi @darshanhiranandani23! Maybe I can help out resolving the issues with the app hub. Are you currently trying to host your own App Hub from the repository or do you mean outdated packages hosted on the App Hub?
