In general I think we need to make the dimensional model work better and smoother throughout the system.
There are too many places where we make it too complicated for the user to both understand and use this model.

A quick fix to my frustration if with this blueprint takes too long would be to allow for multiple selection when designing indicator formulas.
E.g. select all the DE+catoptioncombos you need in the list at the same time and then the formula will automatically lists these with a ‘+’ between each item.
All the clicking on each and every DE+catoptioncombos and ‘+’ just drives me cracy when I have 24 catoptioncombos that I need to add together per data element to get to the total (which is simply the name of the data element).
Another added value of supporting totals and subtotals would be that the indicator formulas actually become readable, which is not the case when you list 24 DE+catoptioncombos after each other.
