Hi
Under system settings, there is only 3 options for specifying the start of the financial/fiscal year: April, July, and October.
But what do you select for countries where the financial/fiscal year is equivalent to the calendar year, like Norway or Sierra Leone? (Amusingly, the SL demo is specifying the financial year from October - which is clearly wrong - the fiscal year for SL is Jan-Dec).

Hi Calle,
Not sure why you would need to do anything in those cases?

Knut,
You might argue that users “should” know never to use financial years if their financial years are calendar years - but what if they don’t, and select a financial year reporting period? Then all the their data in the analytics tables will be wrong.
So for consistency, the financial year start should include January, April, July, and October. For countries with financial year = calendar year, the analytics values will in reality be identical - but at least they are consistent with reality.

Calle
