I have a concern about the launch of DHIS2 on the browser. because we have
alot of browsers but each browser, there is always a problem that is
present on the aspect of DHIS2 namely: trees organisationnellesqui units
are not displayed, spits browsers and many others.
what is the right browser recommender
I’m using google chrome on windows 8 and not experiencing particular problem with the display of the application. Which browser are you using and which version on what os? Is this a new install ?
Best regards

We are using Chrome mostly and have noticed that if you are using an earlier version some things don’t display. For example in the GIS module users of the earlier version did not see the menu option: “Legend”. As soon as we upgraded it reappeared… might be a problem of cache.

The recommended browser for DHIS2 is Google Chrome and it also has to be the latest version as some older versions has issues of not displaying the Org Unit Tree.
After you install from an existing Google Chrome installer, just check to be sure that you have horizontal bars to the extreme right of the address bar (url bar) and not the spanner icon.

We should follow officially recommended browser for accessing DHIS 2 functionality, which is
Mozilla Firefox. I am using Mozilla Firefox 29.0.1 and so far did’t find any issue as mentioned
in trail email.

True but even at that link, Chrome is recommended.
DHIS 2 is written according to the W3C standard for HTML and CSS and runs on any standard compliant web browser like Chrome,Firefox, Opera, Safari 4 and Internet Explorer 8+. The DHIS 2 team recommends Chrome as it provides excellent performance for Javascript-intensive applications like DHIS 2.

The official browser which I have always known is Google Chrome. Except things have changed though. Maybe the developers need
to clarify this.
@Lars, Jason, etc…Please what is the recommended browser.

Hi Walter CiSHAN,
I can tell you about your error, please, firstly, check correctly your DHIS2 version and you backup database or run DHIS2 with void database…
I will advise that you start this question on a completely new subject line specific to the problem so as to help users know what exactly is the content of the issue.
