Web API Help

Dear All,
Please help us. We need to know how we can access to a pivot table/report/dashboard which we want to build as a template and then we can pass the Org Unit as a parameter from an external web application so that we can get the pivot table/report/dashboard for the particular Organization we pass. What we know is that we can create pivot table/report/dashboard for a particular Org Unit selecting from the hierarchy list. However, we need to get the same facility but Selection of an Org Unit will be done from an external web application as a parameter to WebAPI. The WebAPI in return should provide the pivot table to the called application.

Hi Ferdous,

sorry but what you ask for is not supported at the moment. It’s a little bit more complicated as there is no guarantee that all items in a dashboard has just one org unit, or any org units for that matter. What we have been thinking of using the “relative org unit” feature of pivots / charts, where you can use the org unit associated with the current user to render the analysis. What we could do is to pass an org unit parameter to a dashboard, and then let that parameter control all pivots / charts that has a “relative org unit”. We will work on it.

regards,

Lars

Dear Lars,
I really appreciate your reply. However, do you think any DHIS2 core developer can create any custom WebAPI to full fill such tasks? If yes, could you please recommend any of them who can help us working as a consultant for a week or so?
