I was wondering if anyone can clarify what the value-type tracker associate means. This is available in data element maintenance.
Also, there are several new average types available as the aggregation type. Any clarification on this terms would be very helpful.

Hi Nick,
It is a bit tricky and unfortunate that we have tracker associate value type is now exposed in data element UI. The use case has been to assign tracker associate value types only for attributes not data elements. I would say ignore tracker associate value type when working with data elements at least fro now.
Tracker associate value type is used to store UID of a tracked entity instance. The intention is to link two tracked entity instances.
