Hi all,
Have tried to find info about this change in the release notes, upgrade notes and lists but no luck. We are quite dependent on being able to set a tracker attribute as unique to a program. Is there another way to do this now? Or has this feature been droped and if so why.

This issue was in couple of discussions sometime back… the discussions are in our mailing list archive. One is here https://bugs.launchpad.net/dhis2/+bug/1569793
The feature never worked. For 2.27 we are making changes to our web-api end point and we hope to make it ready when 2.27 is released.

emm… are you sure you were doing registration with attributes having uniqueness scope across program?

Well I’m not sure if was working across programs, or was actually across entire system, but yes, thats what we had set the attribute to, and it was definitely enforcing uniqueness when we tried to add duplicate keys.
Screenshot below is from the production server (version 2.19 I’m afraid to say) - hoping to upgrade to 2.25/2.26 shortly hence the question.
