I would like to include a program indicator (analytics type: EVENT) in a line list report (output type: ENROLLMENT). The point is that I want to retrieve the data of all the events of a specfic program stage, and evaluate that program indicator to only show the enrollments which fulfill a condition.
When I click on ‘Update’ everything is displayed (the program indicator too) but when I try to use the operators in the ‘Selected data items’ to only show those records whose value (of the program indicator) is greater than a specific number, all the information disappears and the table goes blank.
This is working as expected when I use program indicators with analytics type: enrollment, but these only get the info of the last event.
Is there any way to achieve this? Is it somehow possible to use ‘event’ program indicators in ‘enrollment’ reports and vice versa or not?
I’d be really happy to see screenshots of this and the operator. If possible to repeat the steps on any of the play.dhis2.org instance, it’d be even more helpful.
If I understand correctly, in the Line Listing app, you are selecting the data dimension and entering a condition. When the input type is Event, it doesn’t work but when the input type is Enrollment it works. I tried reproducing this idea on play but can’t reproduce this issue.
Yes, exactly. If I want to interact with an “event_count” program indicator, I can’t use the Line Listing app with output Enrollment.
Anyway, I think it’s something about the version (2.36.13.2), because I’m also trying to reproduce the issue in the play.dhis2.org instance and apparently it works.
What version do you think I should upgrade my instance to? I am concerned that it will affect the functionality of the forms or the information stored.
Are you able to update the Line Listing app to the latest version? It might not be necessary to upgrade the whole instance yet although it is recommended (and sometimes crutial) to be using one of the latest supported versions.
I understand. It’s better to create a complete back up before making any changes and then clone your instance so you could perform a test upgrade before making changes to the production instance.
