Want to learn about and practice with DHIS 2 using the Sierra Leone database off-line.
Have installed all the necessary components (I think) and made the necessary connections (I think).
I did as being told by Knut Staring: starting DHIS 2; a small notice in the bottom tells me to “please(!) be patient”. I was! Then at long last a small notice: “webserver failed to start -see logs for details”

I’m not very familiar with DHIS Live (or DHIS on windows), but looking at the log, it seems:
DHIS 2 live started and you could log in with the default empty database
The first time you started with a postgres (demo?) database, it also started and you could log in
Then, it looks like DHIS 2 i started again, but I don’t see any sign of the previous instance being shut down first. So (perhaps a stupid question…), but are you sure that there’s not an instance of DHIS 2 running in the background? Safest way to make sure is probably to restart windows.

Aad, you need to right click on that green icon down in the right hand corner in order to Exit the DHIS2 server. Or you could also open Windows Task Manager and kill all java processes.

we have just made a fix to DHIS version 2.13 which solves an issue for
starting up on Live. Could you please download the latest one from here and
try again: Downloads - DHIS2
Re the database I suspect that you have not connected to Postgres but are
still running on H2.
I’m also facing a similar problem. The first time I start the service it starts ok and I’m able to authentication with default admin user. If I restart the service although I get a success message on log, trying to access the application I get

I did a merge to our branch a few minutes ago and create a new build. Going to try with your build from last night.
