Using d2 formulas in the TEA not working

Hello All,
Happy New Year

I wanted to configure the Tracked Entity Attribute but taking advantage of some DHIS2 formulas (like substring) on a system-generated id but it seems that DHIS2 doesn’t recognize these formulas.
Is it because they’re used in the program rules only or I have to do something else?

Anyone with an idea about this, welcome🙏
