Please find the attached use case diagram for the community-based system we are planning to develop.
Just an update, a question was raised about the name “CBS” … and there is a suggestion to call it
Community-Based Health System
Community-Based Health Information System
…
you can also add your name and through it for discussion.
One thing … I am not convinced on the effectiveness of launchpad as a discussion forum. I couldn’t keep things coherent and on the same board. I don’t think treating subsequent discussions as separate blueprints is a good idea. I prefer the old Wiki we have for linking things together.
Thanks abyot for the use-case diagram… It looks too simplified at the moment and I hope we can make it more detailed as we have a better understanding of the workflow that we are supposed to support.
I agree, launchpad and its blueprints are inadequate for meaningful discussions. These design decisions have to be very iterative and hence a wiki is the best suited tool to do it. Other than that I also completely fail to understand the use of blueprints. We can’t create roadmaps, timelines, load on each developer etc, which are somehow basic necessities for project management. Bazaar for me is still not best suited and is Distributed Versioning really our need??
Kenai looks more suited to the need I think, if project hosting is what we want and don’t want to host project management tools on our own. I think I’ve said these before, but I thought — another chance to rant…
