Urgent Attention Required: Pending Feature Implementation in DHIS2

Dear DHIS2 Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to bring attention to a critical issue we’re facing regarding the pending implementation of a crucial feature in DHIS2.

We have a ticket (DHIS2-12207) that has been pending for quite some time, and unfortunately, it remains unresolved. This feature request involves adding a selection for multiple attribute option combos attached to data sets in the new data approval app. This feature was available in the old approval app but is not available anymore after version 2.38 of DHIS2. Despite its importance for our operations, it has not yet been addressed.

Due to this unresolved issue, we are currently unable to proceed with our DHIS2 upgrade. As a result, our organization’s operations and data management are being significantly impacted.

We understand that the DHIS2 team is working diligently on various tasks and developments. However, we kindly request urgent attention to this matter as it directly affects our ability to effectively utilize DHIS2 in our daily operations.

If anyone in the community has insights or suggestions on how we can escalate this issue or expedite the implementation process, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to a prompt resolution so that we can continue our DHIS2 upgrade.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am following up with the team and it looks like there’s been quite a number of discussions about this feature. I also found another related ticket ([DHIS2-11518] - Jira) by @Jim_Grace.

I understand that there has been feature requests created before; however, I would like from you to please use the new voting tool as it is now the main workflow used for developing features. See ideas!

It’d have been great if it got added before the voting closed; however, having the idea there is good so it might be prioritized based on the previous discussions, and you can link this CoP post as well as other insights. Again, please see ideas!
