Upload to the Server failing for Event Capture - Data Entry

Dear all,

I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this problem, however the Upload to the Server for data entry in Event capture (Single Event without Registration) has failed on both Chrome & Firefox on about 5 different PCs/ Users.

P.s If it is a bug and fixed, will the data be uploaded without having to clear the Cache since i need to inform people whether to continue or halt the data entry process.

Hi Sam,

We just realised also yesterday that with DHIS2 you need to set the number of level for offline data entry can be accepted, and seems you have not set this to this particular level

Go to setting and increase the number of levels for offline under General settings

Maximum offline organisation unit levels

Hi Abyot,

That helped to solve the problem.

From the console. I was getting the error ‘HTTP … 1.1 403 forbidden’ which prompted me to look into the user role permissions.

I changed the role of one of the Entrants to Super-user (almost all roles) and it allowed for a successful Upload to the Server.

Is there any specific role for being able to upload data to the server; i would think that it would be embedded into the roles for capturing the data.
