Hi All. We are looking to upgrade our test, dev and prod environments to version 2.42 from 2.41. But prior to the upgrade we are wondering if anyone in the community has advice on the stability and known bugs or security issues with 2.42; and as to which release version of 2.42 you would recommend. Also if there are any significant impacts we should expect in going from 2.41 to 2.42. Thanks!

It is good that you ask because it’s generally the recommended practice to be aware of the release notes before upgrading. In every release, there are release notes which provide all the necessary details about changes as well as if there’s anything that the user needs to change.

In addition to release notes, you should always read the Upgrade Notes carefully.
In the case of v42 I would particularly draw your attention to the new prerequisite related to Tomcat, the removal of classic Data Entry and Tracker Capture apps, and the manual migration notes that might be necessary for some databases.
