I am attempting to make incremental upgrades. Can you please point me to a guide to achieve this.

Unfortunately they are not very descriptive. e.g for 2.27

2.27 Upgrade

User Interface

  • Program indicators have been moved to the maintenance app under Indicator.
  • Program rules and program rule variables have been moved to the maintenance app under Program.

@amusinguzi, they actually are what you need to do the upgrade. The other routine details are not included (replace war file etc) E.g moving from 2.26 to 2.27 you don’t have to run specific sql queries against the db. All you need to do is;
1.Backup both db and extracted directory in webapps folder
2.Delete both 2.26 war file and it’s extracted directory.
3. Download and deploy the 2.27 war file

Same when for moving to 2.28 from 2.27. Some SQL script is required when moving from 2.28 to 2.29. Look out for the specific upgrade notes for each.
