Join us for an overview of the new WorldPop Global 2 dataset, which is now available in DHIS2. Global 2 provides high-resolution annual population estimates for 2015-2030 at 100x100m resolution with disaggregations by age and sex, and also includes data on built settlements and several covariates that are used in analysis and modeling.
The WorldPop team from the University of Southampton will introduce the dataset, explain how it was generated, and highlight key improvements over Global 1. The team from HISP UiO will then demonstrate its integration in DHIS2 through the Maps app, Import/Export app, and Climate Tools.
