Hello all,
We were trying to prevent unapproved data from showing up in analytics reports by turning on the “Hide unapproved data in analytics” option from approval settings.
However, when we export the data from “Analytics and data mart tables management” and view the corresponding report in “Data set report”, we see the unapproved data in the report.
Is this a bug, or is this the right behavior?

Hello Mansi,
If you are using and User account with all access (Super users) or account with both “Approve Data” and “Approve data at Lower level”, then unapproved data will still show up in reports/analysis.
The design is, if user has access to approve data (at his level, or at lower levels) they will still be able to see unapproved data in analysis. Data will only be hidden if you dont have access to approve.
You need to set up your roles right
