I have an option set whose data is in a tree structure, so different nodes may have the same name (code is unique). I don’t know how to manage this option set. Could you please help me?

Since the code isn’t necessarily available during data entry, is it possible to either include the code in the name or to make each name unique.
What’s the difference between “215 Typhoid and 2151 Typhoid” ?
