Hi Devs,
I have noticed that the UI for the tracker for default forms collapses instead of expanding as before based on length of label. See attached screen shot. This resilts in a default form that is not user friendly based on the length of the label.
this is in fact by design. We would like to keep the labels close to the input fields to make it easier to visually connect them. The regular input fields don’t need to be wider than they currently are for numbers and option sets. If you would like free text and larger text areas you can set the data element value type to “long text”.
best regards,
Lars

In that case, what happens to the blank space? Any method to use it in default forms? Like by having two columns for elements?

Hi Pramil,
I would say some blank space is not a problem, and also you typically set
up the tracker dashboard with two column-layout so it won't be that much.

This is happening in v 2.23

Hi Lars,
I am bringing back the UI issue. If you look at the attachment for the UI for tracker, the labels for longitude and latitude are being hidden by the text boxes. Also some labels are long and become wrapped, is it possible to have these labels being one line and pushing the text box further to the empty space ?
On a different issue from the UI, how would we handle a program where at some point the tracked entity exits a follow up stage e.g. immunization once the child reaches a certain age, the event for immunization can longer apply to the child/ its not possible to schedule the event for the child.
