Is it possible to configure the SMS reminder to be sent on a different day, if the appoinement falls on a public holiday or the weekend?

There isn’t a direct way to utilize this idea; however, if you are using program rules as triggers for these notifications then you might be able to add specific dates that are exceptions although this sounds complicated a bit.
