Show dates in the form

Hi all,

I have a dataset in which the dates are some of the data elements

The dataset is set monthly

In the report based on the form, I see all entries except the dates. What can I do to show the dates of the play events in the Dataset.

But somehow proceed

If anyone can help me

Your inquiry is not very clear you could add screen shots.

But hope you have these data elements with defined with value type date.

  1. Here is attached, two files where the data was entered for the “Pas 7” or “Step 7”

The dataelement “Date de la fin du Pas (Date de la réalisation Enquete CAP)” contains the date “2014-10-25” in the data entry. In the report, the other entered data appear except the date. How to configure the visibility of the date in the report or PivotTable?

  1. I manage a database of a program whose implementation flows over several years. In fact, we support communities to improve their water requirements Hygiene and Sanitation behavior change. This process started since 2008 to some communities and continues to this day. So, how can I configure the DATASET to display dates aggregated events over 5 years and view the report ?

Hi Pepe,
I think this is really not supported at the moment, meaning aggregation or calculation of data values stored as dates. This type of aggregation is always not so straightforward. I know from experience with other WATSAN projects, that these types of calculations are often needed, but in our case, it was done with a server side script, which performed the calculation for instance, calculating the number of days/months between two data elements which was then stored in a separate data element (as an integer). Maybe there are other solutions, but that is what we ended up doing.
