Hello Everyone,

Our colleague @Ibrahim.izghari recently highlighted the importance of keeping files in /opt/dhis2 safe, as they may contain production data and audit logs. This also raised questions about how these files should be backed up, and we had a discussion around filesystem-level backups.

I did some work on this last year and earlier this year, so tomorrow, we’ll look at the approach we took and walk through how it works.

I feel its really a good thing to keep files in a safe place so that the data is not lost
