LXD & Container Basics
Single server DHIS2 installations use LXD containers to achieve isolation between services. LXD virtualizes networking and storage, and spins up application containers using prebuilt images — giving you the flexibility of virtual machines with the efficiency of containers.
Tomorrow we’ll be focusing on Networking:
- Bridge networks
- IP management
- Port forwarding
- How containers communicate with each other and the outside world
