Hello everyone,

In the past, we’ve demonstrated ways of exposing PostgreSQL through the host by modifying iptables rules, or by using SSH tunnels, which is a safer approach. We’re now taking this a step further — an even better solution is to use a secure private network.

WireGuard is an open-source, robust VPN solution with state-of-the-art encryption, and is currently one of the fastest VPN technologies available.

Tomorrow, we’ll have a discussion on how we can leverage this VPN for secure access to services such as monitoring tools, Glowroot, Munin, and PostgreSQL, among others.
