Tomorrow, during our server call meeting, @Andreas from the DHIS2 Infrastructure/DevOps team will be leading a hands-on Docker crash course.
This session will help you get comfortable with the Docker command line and learn the basics step by step.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Run and manage containers with real commands
- Mount folders
- Expose ports
- Set environment variables
- Work with networking
- Launch services such as web servers and databases
Prerequisite: Please bring a laptop with Docker installed and working. To check, try running:
docker run ubuntu
No prior Docker experience is required—just a willingness to learn!
