Hello Everyone,

This week’s call will be a continuation of @Andreas’ workshop from last week.

  • Last week: Andreas walked us through the basics of Docker and the Docker CLI.
  • This week: He’ll guide us into Docker Compose — an abstraction that enables Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automates deployments. This is how Docker is typically used in production setups.

The session will be hands-on, so please come prepared with:

  • Docker
  • Docker Compose

Prerequisite check: On your laptop, confirm Docker is working by running:

docker run ubuntudocker compose --help

No prior Docker experience is required!
