Most in-country data centers are running some form of Type 1 hypervisor. The major players have been VMware, KVM, XEN, and Proxmox — and recently Proxmox has been gaining significant popularity in the industry.
I have spent the past week experimenting with it in my home lab and would like to share what I have learned so far on tomorrow’s call. This is not an expert session — just an honest account of my first week with Proxmox, what worked, what didn’t, and what looks promising.
