Hello everyone,

I’ve gathered some feedback on the DHIS2 deployment tools, and there are a few areas where people have asked for more clarification:

  1. Running standalone playbooks for specific tasks, such as proxy setup, PostgreSQL installation, and other individual components.
  2. Deploying Apache Doris alongside DHIS2.
  3. Running containerized applications on top of a standard DHIS2 installation (CHAP being one example).

Tomorrow, I’ll be demonstrating some of these use cases.

Some of these capabilities are relatively new additions to the automated deployment tools and deserve dedicated sessions of their own. For tomorrow, however, I’ll mainly focus on how to target specific plays and use standalone add-on playbooks to extend an existing deployment.
