Thanks @David ! I’m trying to reproduce the issue on play so for now I’m testing using the internal messaging, so I’d like to ask if these values don’t appear in the internal messages as well or both in the email and the internal messaging (when selecting User Group instead of OU contact)?
When I use the internal messaging, all the values appear:
You can see that the value for V{data_description} is missing and that’s because there’s no value. If you reconfigure temporarily the message notification to a user group and see how the message is received in the internal messaging, if the values appear then this is a bug in the Email part but if the values don’t appear still then we need to check other things.
I have come to know that, even in the system messages the period is not being displayed, there is no problem with everything else except the reporting period.
Thank you for sharing. In play.dhis2.org instances, I’m not able to reproduce this issue as you can see in the screenshot the registration_period shows in play so it’s not a bug but probably a configuration issue; however, could you still update to the final release of 2.38?
