I am using DHIS2 2.25 and when i want to add a Facility to a particular group,am getting the above message. What does that mean and if there is someone who can help out.

I cant add facilities to any groups.

Hi

It’s a (serious) bug - reported on JIRA DHIS2-570 on the 25th January.

Nothing’s been done about it so far, most likely due to the rush to finalise 2.26. It’s probably a simple bug to fix since allocating OUs to groups worked in previous versions.

Stanley,

  1. You can use api calls to add or remove OUs from groups.

  2. You can use SQL scripts to do the same

  3. If your instance is on localhost - permanently or temporarily - you can use e.g. MS Access via ODBC to populate the OrgUnitGroupMember table. The table itself is simple - just two fields - so it’s easy to manipulate.

That table is regrettably not part of meta-data export/import, so you cannot e.g. dump out a CSV file and then manipulate that before importing it again. I’ve written a JIRA issue for this - DHIS2-658
