The world pivoted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The versatility of DHIS2 allowed for the tracking of not only patient information but “mis”- information and rumors. This session will review the approach Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs Breakthrough ACTION took in applying real-time monitoring principles with DHIS2 to document rumors in a systematic and dynamic fashion. Included in the session will be an overview of the system structure, implementation guidance, metadata package, and examples from several Breakthrough ACTION country projects. We will offer insights on configuration, use of the dashboards by our project and partners, and lessons learned.
