We have encountered an issue that has raised concerns and left me without a clear response for my data collection team. One of the attached screenshots highlights a specific dataset in which all reports on or before the 15th of each month should be classified as “reporting on time.”
However, yesterday, on the 15th, after completing their data entry, the team observed that out of the expected 61 reports, only 57 were marked as “reporting on time.” This discrepancy has prompted me to delve into the matter further. Upon analyzing the data by facilities, I observed that some of the facilities display a count of zero under the “reporting on time” category, which is evidently affecting the overall district-level percentages.
Could someone please provide an explanation for this issue? Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Regarding the instance at DHIS 2 Demo - Sierra Leone, I’ve taken the step of modifying the submission date from 0 to 16 for Child Health. After making this change, I proceeded to input data for the “Badjia facility,” conducting both maintenance and analytics processes. However, I’ve noticed that the reporting rate summary remains at 66.7%, which is the same value as before these adjustments.
This issue appears to require a thorough evaluation, as the reporting rate had been at zero from the beginning of the month. It seems this aspect might have been overlooked by everyone involved.
I tried to change the value of “Days after period to qualify for timely submission” to -1000 (it accepted the value and saved the changes) and ran the analytics report but it seems that it’s not being taken into consideration all.
I understand that the issue is that this condition is not being taken into consideration when the report is being generated, it’s “zero” no matter what number we put there? If this is the issue I believe it is a bug, we can triage and get confirmation for a Jira ticket to be created.
Thank you @Gerald_Thomas for your patience and clarification.
