as we continue to develop and expand DHIS 2 to me it makes sense to
revise and eventually remove functionality which is not in active use
or is not of desired quality in order to keep the code base healthy.
In that regard I propose we remove the following functions:
- "Tally sheet generator" (in "Reports" module). It seems that most
places will remain with printed forms for a long time to come.
- "Sort order property" and "Display property" settings (under "User
general settings" in "Settings" module).
- "Gap analysis" (in "Data quality" module).
Is anyone using these? If I don't hear anything in a weeks time these
will be removed.
Dear Lars this makes much sense, its good to reduce unused functionalities, am not using any of above but i would like to know from my colleagues if there is anyone using or have used Gap analysis to tell us because this feature looks important for Gaps or missing values during Data quality audit based on blank fields.

In Editing the created data element there is this option (Active*=yes&no) which appears after creation of data element (it appears while you try to edit the created data element). In case you put no or yes what is the effect of both in database, analysis or in the system? Since it has * it shows that it is a compulsory option that has an effect.
